El lunes es el día oficial del REY... y una gran mayoría de thailandeses viste camisetas o blusas en color amarillo - el color Real - como deferencia y devoción a Su Majestad.
En las fotos no se puede apreciar del todo bien, pues no es fácil "pillarles" a todos juntos! Además hay mucho extranjero suelto y éstos no van de amarillo - cosa que desvirtua el porcentaje de amarillo en la foto! - pero un 80% de thailandeses sí!! Realmente se nota por calles, metros y bares que prevalece el color amarillo.......
.... lo que no he podido plasmar ni fotografiar - sería grosero! - es las inscripciones que muchas de estas camisetas amarillas lucen, la mayoría bordadas en un mismo
color amarilo o en dorado: "Larga vida al Rey", "Amamos a nuestro Rey", "Creemos en nuestro Rey"......Monday is the King's day and many Thai people wear a shirt or T-shirt in yellow colour - the Royal colour - to honour the King!
Though it is not well seen in the pictures - because there are many foreign people walking around - a 80% of Thais do wear this colour, most with embroidered "slogans" such as: "Long live the King", "We love our King", "In our King we trust"......
BIEN... ESPERO QUE EL REY REALMENTE VIVA MUCHO (aunque ya tiene 81 años), PUES ES QUIEN MANTIENE AL PUEBLO UNIDO!!
WELL, I DO HOPE THE KING DOES REALLY LIVE LONG (though he is already 81-years-old) AS HE IS WHO MAINTAINS UNITY IN THE COUNTRY!!
