... que no son 73, si no 81 años los que cumplió el viernes el Rey!!!
Y como os comenté, en todas partes - y durante todo el fin de semana - ha estado su figura rodeada de flores, luces y banderas!!Además, hemos estado un par de días en Sukhothai, la antigua capital de Thailandia (os lo cuento en la próxima entrada!) y a las 8pm del viernes, las chicas que servían las mesas en donde cenábamos, así como cocineras y dueños de establecimiento, pararon sus tareas, encendieron velas y estuvieron escuchando las palabras que su Rey les dirigía por radio.............
... well, not 73, but 81 are the years the King has now!!
And as I've mentioned before, his image has been during all weekend, any where, sorrounded by flowers, flags and lights!!
On the very day of the Birthday, we were spending the weekend at Sukhothai (ancient capital of Thailand... I'll explain you about it in the next entry!) and at diner time, by 8pm, all services in the restaurant (cook, waitress...), even owners, stopped to listen to the words of their King on the radio, while lighting candles and blessing him.........
