After a short stay in Catalonia... here I'm back with the blog!!! (I explain you how it was...)

La razón de esta visita relámpago y algo inesperada ha sido aprovechar que Jordi ha podido cogerse unos días... cosa que más adelante le será difícil!!
A ello se ha juntado la casualidad del "cumple" de mi madre - a la que no se avisó de nuestra llegada y le dimos una sorpresa "de muerte"!!

... y al hecho de que tengo a mi "yaya" de 92 años algo "pachuchilla" y me apetecía un montón verla y animarla un poco..........
We did a short visit taking profit of Jordi having some days off and not being sure on when he will have more free days... and we surprised my mother, as by chance it was her Birthday and she was not advised we were arriving... and be sure we did really surprise her!!!

We also wanted to see my 92-years-old Granny, as she is not feeling quite well and we wanted to give her a little cheer.........
El jueves 11 a las 23:30h. (hora en BKK) cogimos avión hacia Barcelona - vía Amsterdam - para llegar viernes 12 a las 09:00h. (hora en BCN), alquilar un coche en el aeropuerto y coger rumbo a Seva - al lado de Vic (nordeste de Barcelona) - y ver a los padre
s de Jordi!Pasear por el pueblo respirando aire puro, fresco y agradable fue todo un revivir!!!!
... el atardecer contemplando el típico campanario de Seva todo un lujo!!
Thursday 11th we took the plane to be in Barcelona on Friday 12th and go first to Jordi's parents, who were staying in a small village - NorthWest of the city - and which sunsets are always incredible as well as its fresh air and cool breeze!!!

Y pasear al día
siguiente por Vic, una alegría para los ojos y todos los sentidos... pues era sábado - día de mercado - y amaneció con un cielo azulísimo como pocos en esa zona!!! 
On the day after, we went to Vic - close to the village - to attend the Saturday market, full of colour and life!!
The sun was so blue that even the balloons showed on the rooftops......
Esa misma tarde nos presentamos en la masia de Vilafranca para la sorpresa a mi madre

te nos esperaba Lua en la valla........ y luego no se separó de la puerta para cerciorarse de que no nos marchábamos!!!That afternoon, when going to visit my parents in the countryhouse in Vilafranca, Lua was awaiting us and did not leave the door to make sure we stayed!!!!
También nos cogimos unos días de relax para nosotros... y para hacer unos cuantos
kilómetros!!!!
TENÍAMOS EL "MONO" DE CONDUCIR!!!!!!
(En Thailandia no conducimos por el momento...).
Nos dimos una vuelta por la comarca del Priorat - conocida por sus vinos!! - pero que también tiene paisajes envidiables, antiguos conventos muy interesantes, pueblecitos con sus iglesias - "i senyeres"!!! - y, como no, hectáreas de viñas - la mayoría de uva negra - para sus ya famosos - y algunos carísimos! - caldos......
(En Thailandia no conducimos por el momento...).
Nos dimos una vuelta por la comarca del Priorat - conocida por sus vinos!! - pero que también tiene paisajes envidiables, antiguos conventos muy interesantes, pueblecitos con sus iglesias - "i senyeres"!!! - y, como no, hectáreas de viñas - la mayoría de uva negra - para sus ya famosos - y algunos carísimos! - caldos......
Uuffff... un par de días de movilidad, sin tráfico ni gente!!!!!!!!We also took a couple of days "off" to drive away on our own - you know we love driving, which we do not in Thailand at the moment!!
Driving through the "Priorat" - well-known region due to their wines, mostly red ones - also full of great landscape and fabolous constructions was real fun!! ... and those days without traffic jams and lots of people were GREAT!
Y hablando de gente..............
Todo terminó este lunes 22 en que cogimos el avión de vuelta... sniff, sniffffff............ pero EN ESTOS POCOS DÍAS EN CATALUNYA, HEMOS PODIDO CHARLAR - comiendo, cenando o tomando una copa de cava! - CON GRANDES AMIGAS/OS... SÓLO LAMENTAMOS NO HABER PODIDO ESTAR CON TOOOOODOS LOS QUE HUBIERAMOS QUERIDO...........
... TODOS LOS QUE HEMOS VISTO SON..... PERO NO TODOS LOS QUE SON LOS HEMOS VISTO............
Talking about people... we regret not having been able to meet ALL those FRIENDS with whom we would have loved to share a lunch, a diner, a chat......
Our short stay did end on Monday 22nd, when we took the plane back............
